KULMHOF & RADEGAST STATION

Go beyond the most visited sites and understand how the Holocaust actually happened — from deportation to extermination.

Travel from Warsaw to Kulmhof (Chełmno nad Nerem), the first Nazi extermination camp, located about 2.5 hours away. This site marked the beginning of systematic mass murder, where victims were killed in mobile gas vans. Your visit starts at the museum, featuring a modern exhibition that explains the history and functioning of the camp. You will also watch a short documentary in the Granary and see the remains of the former manor house and buildings used by the camp administration.

Continue to the nearby Rzuchów Forest, where victims were buried in mass graves and later burned. Although the camp was destroyed by the Germans in 1945, the area remains a powerful and moving place of remembrance.

On the way back, stop at Radegast Station in Łódź — the main deportation point from the Litzmannstadt Ghetto — which adds important context to the story of deportations and the Holocaust in occupied Poland.

This private tour combines historical depth with the comfort of private transport, allowing you to explore these significant sites in a meaningful way.
